Mohamed Salah’s Liverpool future still the subject of speculation
Mohamed Salah’s contract situation at Liverpool is no secret. The Egyptian appears to be closing in on the exit route from Anfield. His current contract with the Reds is set to expire in July, which means that he’d be free to begin negotiations with suitors after the turn of the year.
As it stands, there are no concrete developments that suggest that the attacker will pen a new deal at Anfield. Instead, reports continue to link him with an exit from the club, with a switch to Saudi Arabia being heavily touted.
According to GOAL, Al Ittihad have shown interest in signing the attacker in a deal that could be as high as £215 million. Contrary to that report though, ESPN have claimed that Salah could be open to signing a new contract at the club. It remains to be seen what the future holds for the player.
