Sean Duffy, a former Wisconsin Representative, was tapped by Donald Trump to be the new U.S. Secretary of Transportation. While nominating the cable news personality in a statement, Trump gave his wife, Rachel Campos-Duffy, a shout-out.

“The husband of a wonderful woman, Rachel Campos-Duffy, a STAR on Fox News, and the father of nine incredible children, Sean knows how important it is for families to be able to travel safely, and with peace of mind,” read Trump’s statement, which Sean shared to X (formerly known as Twitter). “Admired across the aisle, Sean worked with Democrats to clear extensive legislative hurdles to build the largest road and bridge project in Minnesota history … [Duffy] will prioritize excellence, competence, competitiveness and beauty when rebuilding America’s highways, tunnels, bridges and airports. He will ensure our ports and dams serve our Economy without compromising our national security, and he will make our skies safe again by eliminating DEI for pilots and air traffic controllers.”

Before she became a Fox News host, Rachel began her media and TV career in The Real World: San Francisco in 1994. The show was the third season of the MTV series The Real World.

After starring in The Real World, Rachel appeared in Road Rules: All Stars, where she met Sean. The couple got married in 1999.

Rachel Suffered From Two Miscarriages

Rachel revealed she suffered from two miscarriages in the past. In 2019, she tweeted her support for Alec Baldwin‘s wife, Hilaria Baldwin, who opened up about her own miscarriage via social media.

“Having had 2 miscarriages, I totally agree w/ @hilariabaldwin [sic],” Rachel tweeted. “A miscarriage, in any trimester, is devastating b/c a baby has died. Whether through miscarriage or abortion the loss of innocent life leaves pain & emotional scars on mothers [sic].”

Rachel added the hashtag “pro life” alongside her tweet.
