We also expect the phone to launch in the United States under the name Edge+ (2024) since Motorola brands its flagship with the Plus moniker for its American customers.

The phone also appeared in multiple video leaks and teasers, revealing an April 3 launch in India, a date which we told you about before.

According to some videos pretending to showcase the X50 Ultra/Edge 50 Pro, the phone will have a 6.7” screen with Full HD+ resolution and 165 Hz refresh rate, 12 GB RAM and up to 512 GB storage. However, these videos might be refurbished footage of the Edge 40 Pro because they do not reveal anything that the 2023 flagship did not have, not even some Android 14-specific features. See for yourself:

The Moto Edge 50 Pro is already up on Flipkart with its own landing page. It confirmed some specs like a 50 MP main camera that will also bring auto-focus tracking in video, AI adaptive stabilization, and an AI photo enhancement guide.

The page also said the screen will have 1220p resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate, contradicting the videos. Also, Motorola said this would be the first phone with a Pantone-validated display, which will bring “real-world colors” and “accurate skin tones” in the “most authentic way”.
