Hold onto those car seats! The can’t-miss Target car seat trade-in event returns SOON!
Have you heard of the super popular Car Seat Trade-In Event at Target? It started in 2016 – Target shoppers bring in an old, damaged, or expired car seat to Guest Services during set dates and receive a 20% OFF coupon to redeem on a future purchase of a new car seat, stroller, or other select baby gear.
AND, it’s likely returning in April!
Although a date has not been announced yet, we’ll keep an eye out for any announcements and updates!
Cam was at last year’s event to explain all the perks:
When the event is live, score the 20% coupon by simply head in-store during the event with your undesired car seat and look for the giant recycling box (like the ones pictured). Discard your seat and scan the barcode on the sign with your phone to load the 20% off Circle offer to your account. Easy peasy!
Note that a Target Circle account (free to join) is required to take advantage of the 20% Circle discount. If you don’t already have one set up, be sure to take a minute to create one so you’re ready to attend the event.

The 20% off discount is available immediately in-store and online and is usually valid for a couple of weeks after the event ends.
