Before you say it, we didn\u2019t leave out the \u201cat.\u201d They\u2019re called \u201cThe Villas Caesars Palace,\u201d not \u201cThe Villas at Caesars Palace.\u201d And \u201creceives\u201d is correct. \u201cThe Villas\u201d is a singular proper name of a place. Who made you like this?<\/p>\n

Anyway, The Villas Caesars Palace is now just one of three hotels on the list of AAA\u2019s Five Diamond list. The others are Four Seasons (at Mandalay Bay) and Waldorf Astoria (no casino, so invalid).<\/p>\n

No, Caesars Palace as a whole isn\u2019t Five Diamond, just The Villas Caesars Palace. Can you just be excited about anything without picking it apart? This is a big deal!<\/p>\n

When Wynn executives go to sleep at night, they have visions of AAA Five Diamond designations dancing in their heads.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

This is the first time The Villas has attained a Five Diamond rating from AAA.<\/p>\n

AAA stands for \u201cAmerican Automobile Association,\u201d but it just goes by AAA now, often referred to as \u201ctriple A.\u201d<\/p>\n

AA once did hotel reviews, but those focused almost exclusively on minibar prices and toilet accessibility, so that organization\u2019s rating system quickly fell out of favor with the public.<\/p>\n

AAA was founded in 1902. The organization provides roadside assistance, travel agency services and also rates hotels and restaurants.<\/p>\n

Fewer than 1% of the AAA-rated hotels in America meet the standards for a Five Diamond rating. Michelin does stars, AAA does diamonds. Michelin is too snooty and French to grace Las Vegas hotels with their stupid stars, so AAA\u2019s ranking is of much greater value in Sin City.<\/p>\n

Before we continue droning on about The Villas, the Las Vegas restaurants with AAA Five Diamond designations are: Joel Robuchon at MGM Grand, Le Cirque at Bellagio and Restaurant Guy Savoy at Caesars Palace.<\/p>\n

How a restaurant can get Five Stars from AAA without serving chicken parm, we have no idea.<\/p>\n

According to the news release about the distinctive Five Diamond designation, \u201cTo earn the distinctive AAA Five Diamond designation, hotels and restaurants must pass a rigorous evaluation that includes unannounced, in-person inspections and anonymous overnight stays for hotels, and a review by a panel of experts as a final step to ensure credibility. AAA Diamond Program hotels and restaurants are re-evaluated annually to ensure they provide the best experience for travelers and diners.\u201d<\/p>\n

Remember the hotel reviewer in \u201cOcean\u2019s 13\u201d who got hoodwinked by the guys to sabotage Willy Bank\u2019s chance of getting a Five Diamond rating? It\u2019s like that.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a primary bedroom in one of the suites. Yes, they\u2019re \u201cprimary bedrooms\u201d now, not \u201cmaster bedrooms.\u201d That\u2019s because the term \u201cmaster bedroom\u201d can have negative connotations related to sexism or racism. We will refrain from making a joke here because we have already been canceled upwards of 36 times this week. We were already nervous about using the term \u201choodwinked\u201d to be honest.<\/p>\n

What makes The Villas Caesars Palace so special?<\/p>\n

We are joking, of course. Casino hosts are the ones in charge of ordering drugs and sex workers. Everybody knows that.<\/p>\n

Kidding aside, this achievement by Caesars Palace and its owner, Caesars Entertainment, is as exceptional as they say it is.<\/p>\n

These suites are glorious, and guests can look forward to having their every (legal) whim catered to.<\/p>\n

Kudos to Caesars Entertainment and the world-class team at The Villas Caesars Palace<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Villas Caesars Palace rates can top $35,000 a night. If you have to ask, you can\u2019t afford it. And by \u201cyou,\u201d we mean us.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

We would stay there, but we\u2019re very busy and important, which translates as we are not in any of the groups who can afford to: Asian whales, celebrities (specifically, Carrot Top), sultans, crypto bros, sex workers.<\/p>\n
