Clique Bar & Lounge has reopened at Cosmopolitan after a refresh.<\/p>\n

The renovation looks amazing, despite the fact they insist upon calling it an \u201celectric social haven.\u201d<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s look at some fresh photos and hear more from Clique because that means we can cut-and-paste from the news release and not exert any unnecessary energy.<\/p>\n

Do people still chillax? This would be a cool spot to do that.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Right? Damn. Vegas does a lot right, despite all the kvetching online.<\/p>\n

The new Clique lounge design is from Petermax Co.<\/p>\n

If we ever hit Megabucks, Petermax Co. is going to design our home\u2019s interior, which at the moment looks like the devastation left in the wake of your typical Godzilla attack.<\/p>\n

This is giving 1970s cocktail den, velvet mafia, sexy bunker, lava lamp chic and inadequate lumbar support.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Here are some words from the news release about Clique Bar & Lounge: \u201cThe remodel marks a new chapter for Clique, which has been a staple at The Cosmopolitan since its opening in 2015. Renowned for their captivating aesthetic and attention to detail, the team at Petermax Co. transformed Clique into a stylish new destination for sipping cocktails and socializing. A fusion of old Hollywood glam and modern indulgence, Clique\u2019s new interior is bathed in copper and amber tones with luminous gold accents. Lush banquettes and private nooks welcome intimate gatherings, while an open floor plan invites conversation and dancing. Striking paintings by artist Lisa Ledson adorn the walls, and a brilliant disco ball, surrounded by a wreath of handcrafted, golden-hued flowers, hangs from the ceiling to complete the space, making the reinvention equal parts chic cocktail lounge and electric social haven.\u201d<\/p>\n

Forget \u201cimmersive\u201d (an over-used term that\u2019s rarely true), designs like this are transportive.<\/p>\n

The minute you enter a space like this, it\u2019s a reminder you aren\u2019t in your hometown anymore. You\u2019re in a magical place where you get to experience an alternate reality where there are no chores, no in-laws, no letters from the H.O.A.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s an escape, however brief, to another kind of life. A life with less struggle, fewer concerns and no children.<\/p>\n

If your goal is to have sex, you\u2019re sort of already having sex with your eyes, so there\u2019s that.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The look of the place isn\u2019t all that\u2019s been re-bedazzled.<\/p>\n

The drinks have also had some work done; \u201cBehind the bar, Clique\u2019s mixologists have crafted a vibrant new menu of drinks that are as playful as they are precise. Signature \u2018Clique Bait\u2019 libations include the Open Sesame, made with Patr\u00f3n Reposado, Orgeat, lime, chocolate bitters and sesame; the Mango Sunfire, made with Skyy Spicy Mango Vodka, tamarind, ginger, lemon, lime and lemonade; and the Mishima Sunset, made with Suntory Toki Japanese Whiskey, grapefruit, lemon, hibiscus, yuzu and egg white; each priced at $22. For a cheeky twist, the \u201cTiny \u2018Tinis\u201d and \u201cFast and Flirty\u201d shooters deliver big flavor in small, shareable sips. The lounge also offers two mocktails: the Faux Real, made with Almave Blanco, passion fruit, lime, agave, tropical Red Bull, and Taj\u00edn; and The Tease, made with strawberry, passion fruit, lime, orgeat, and coconut Red Bull, both priced at $12.\u201d<\/p>\n

There\u2019s a reason they\u2019re mentioning the prices. Because everyone\u2019s touting value right now, and in the cocktails realm, $28 has become the new $12. This isn\u2019t that.<\/p>\n

Clique has always had an outstanding beverage team, and their presentations are as much show as cocktail.<\/p>\n

If you can feel your face, they made it wrong.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Clique also offers food.<\/p>\n

We have done extensive research (cutting) and analysis (pasting) to bring you this overview: \u201cThe food menu has also been reimagined with new additions such as the damn good meatballs, made with a blend of wagyu beef and Ib\u00e9rico pork, topped with bone marrow tomato sauce and served alongside basil pesto bread sticks; mini Maine lobster rolls, served in butter griddle brioche buns and topped with fresh lemon; and The Dancing Monkey, a dessert of banana donut holes, topped with peanut butter cr\u00e8me anglaise and chocolate cognac sauce; among others. Longstanding favorites also make their return, including Clique\u2019s signature lollipop chicken wings, bang bang shrimp, flame-grilled Wagyu sliders, and deep-fried Oreos, served with dipping sauce made from Nutella, Frangelico, marshmallow creme, and vanilla vodka.\u201d<\/p>\n

You know we didn\u2019t write that because we don\u2019t do accent marks and also consider Oxford commas the work of the devil.<\/p>\n

Anyway, that sounds delicious and we can\u2019t wait to get back to Clique Bar & Lounge to check out the glossy new decor and Vegas\u2019d up cocktail menu, despite the fact there\u2019s live music (Tuesdays) and DJs (Thursday through Saturday) and occasionally sports on the venue\u2019s 10 TVs to ruin the vibe they\u2019ve worked so hard to create.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
