Chefs, foodies and porridge-lovers from around the globe assemble to take part in a\u00a0knock-out competition whereby each contestant is given a\u00a0short window to produce a\u00a0dish made solely from oats, water and\u00a0salt.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Were you to rock up into the Carrbridge town hall with a\u00a0sachet of Oat So Simple at this pivotal moment, you\u2019d be hounded out of town with a\u00a0sharpened broomhandle. Unlike the breakfast staple that the film obsesses over, this is a\u00a0featherlight film that contains very little cinematic roughage, and it offers a\u00a0celebration of longtime tradition that preserves the hoary old stereotypes of having a\u00a0group of women handle all the washing up afterwards.
