Karma: The Dark World is a first-person cinematic psychological thriller set in a dystopian world where the Leviathan Corporation is omnipresent. The year is 1984, the place is East Germany, and things are not quite what they seem. <\/p>\n
You are Daniel, a Roam Agent for Leviathan\u2019s Thought Bureau, and you have been brought in to investigate actions that have happened in a very specific moment in time. A moment which opens the mind to a world of espionage and betrayal, littered with deep and dark secrets.<\/p>\n
What is time? A measurement of fleeting events we perceive as they pass, where terrible and joyous experiences fade into memory, obscured by a desire to leave our sadness in the past as we struggle to hold on to our fondest moments as they drift toward nostalgia.
\nSometimes there is no time for time.<\/p>\n
But what happens when there is a way to see into those memories? To go back and inhabit those times locked away in the corners of our thoughts, to bring those fleeting moments back to the present? And what happens when a corporation creates a machine to allow them to do this at will to the inhabitants of a city held tight in their grasp?<\/p>\n
