Starting this week, Xbox Insiders enrolled in the PC Gaming Preview will be the first to experience the new \u201cMy Apps\u201d feature in the Xbox PC App on Windows 11 PCs and handhelds. You can conveniently access your games and essential third-party applications, such as browsers, gaming utilities, or storefronts, all within the Xbox PC app.<\/p>\n
My\u00a0apps\u00a0is a\u00a0new\u00a0tab within the Xbox PC app\u2019s library\u00a0that allows\u00a0players\u00a0to\u00a0locate, view, and\u00a0download\u00a0third-party\u00a0applications\u00a0and\u00a0most\u00a0commonly used\u00a0storefronts. By\u00a0consolidating\u00a0gaming\u00a0apps\u00a0in one location, this feature supports the\u00a0new aggregated\u00a0gaming\u00a0library<\/a>, making it more straightforward to find, download, and launch games from multiple\u00a0locations.\u00a0<\/p>\n With\u00a0\u201cMy\u00a0apps\u201d,\u00a0you can\u00a0easily find and\u00a0download\u00a0what\u00a0you need without leaving your library or\u00a0switching to your\u00a0desktop.\u00a0As an\u00a0Insider, you\u00a0will initially have access to a tailored\u00a0selection\u00a0of apps that\u00a0you\u00a0can view and\u00a0download, and we will expand support to\u00a0additional\u00a0apps over time.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n My\u00a0apps\u00a0enables\u00a0players on an\u00a0ROG\u00a0Xbox\u00a0Ally\u00a0or\u00a0other Windows\u00a011\u00a0handhelds\u00a0to\u00a0more easily navigate between applications\u00a0from the\u00a0Xbox full screen experience,\u00a0a\u00a0new feature\u00a0optimized\u00a0specifically for handheld gaming. With new modifications that minimize background activity and defer non-essential tasks, more system resources are dedicated specifically to gameplay.\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n Together with features like your aggregated gaming library and play history<\/a>, \u201cMy apps\u201d puts players at the center, making Xbox on PC your home for discovering, managing, and playing your entire catalog of great games from any storefront.
