We are super excited to announce our brand new trading hours!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStarting this Thursday (August 7th, 2025) at 5am ET, Kalshi will be open 24\/7 for trading with the exception of routine maintenance. Maintenance will occur weekly from 3am &#8211; 5am ET on Thursday mornings.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNew hours:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sun: 24\/7<\/li>\n<li>Mon: 24\/7<\/li>\n<li>Tue: 24\/7<\/li>\n<li>Wed: 24\/7<\/li>\n<li>Thu: Closed 3am &#8211; 5am ET<\/li>\n<li>Fri: 24\/7<\/li>\n<li>Sat: 24\/7\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Kalshi moving to ~24\/7 markets <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/KeySG177zT\">pic.twitter.com\/KeySG177zT<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; 0xperp (@0xperp) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/0xperp\/status\/1952500478140436815?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 4, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2><span id=\"kalshi_maintenance_hours_will_now_take_place_just_on_a_thursday-2\">Kalshi maintenance hours will now take place just on a Thursday<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>This is a major move for the brand, as it has previously closed between the hours of 3-8AM Eastern time every day.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of July, the company had informed the Commodity Futures Trading Commission that the change will be taking place. \u201cThis <a href=\"https:\/\/kalshi-public-docs.s3.amazonaws.com\/regulatory\/notices\/Modified%20DCM%20Notice%20of%20Changes%20to%20Hours%20July%202025.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">filing<\/a> is to provide notice that the schedule of maintenance windows announced on the website will be changed, such that maintenance windows will occur, and trading will not be available on Kalshi, during the following times:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn a regular basis, from the hours of 3:00 AM ET to 5:00 AM ET on Thursdays,\u201d Kalshi says in the self-certification.<\/p>\n<p>This comes after another big announcement which took place at the end of last month, with <a href=\"https:\/\/readwrite.com\/kalshi-xai-announce-partnership\/\">Kalshi and xAI sharing news of a partnership<\/a> that is \u2018effective immediately.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEffective immediately, Kalshi and xAI are partnering to bring Grok to prediction markets.
