Beware the Greed \u2013 and Your Own Greed<\/h2>\n

Expand your camp carefully by building up your defenses and protect your followers from the sinister force outside. Take care to avoid and escape from the Greed who will steal your crown and end your reign.<\/p>\n

We recommend expanding slowly and building out your walls gradually to not overextend yourself. The Greed will arrive in the darkness to attack your camp, and everything that\u2019s not safe within your secure boundaries will be ripe for the taking. But worse than losing a few coins is letting the Greedlings get into your camp and cause chaos.<\/p>\n

You Can Never Have Too Much Gold \u2013 Until you Have Too Much Gold<\/h2>\n

Gold coins don\u2019t only represent the amount of money your ruler has; it also represents their health! Collect coins by exploring and employing followers, but make sure that you\u2019re spending those coins just as fast as you\u2019re earning them \u2013 you can only hold so many coins, and if you have too many they\u2019ll fall on the ground and drop into the water.<\/p>\n

If you have a few extra gold coins and the Greed are in pursuit, try dropping some coins on the ground \u2013 it might distract Greedlings from attacking you and stealing your crown.<\/p>\n

Prepare Yourself for the Second Island<\/h2>\n

There are some resources that can only be found on the second island that your ruler can get to but take care before you take off! As your kingdom grows and expands, so strengthens the Greed you will find across new islands.<\/p>\n

Recruit enough people to have a secure base on your first island and prepare to explore even more when you jump off the boat onto your second.<\/p>\n

Give the Person with the Donkey a Coin<\/h2>\n

Just trust us on this one.<\/p>\n
