The first Major championship of the year saw stellar performances across the field comprised of the world&#8217;s best golfers.<\/p>\n<p>The final round of the 2025 Masters Tournament saw a thrilling playoff between Rory McIlroy and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/player\/justin-rose\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">Justin Rose<\/a>. The playoff was held at Augusta National&#8217;s par 4 18th hole. With the latter carding in a par, McIlroy was crowned the winner of the 2025 Masters Tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Despite getting off to a rocky start, the Northern Irishman had his sights set on winning his maiden green jacket. He went on to end the week with a 1-over par 73 round and posted a birdie on the playoff hole to complete his career Grand Slam.<\/p>\n<p><template id=\"also-read-articles-template\"><\/p>\n<p><\/template><\/p>\n<p>Justin Rose wowed the golf world with his performance at the 2025 Masters Tournament. Having been a golfer for over 12 years now, some of her crowning achievements include winning titles on the Indian Golf Union Ladies tour and Junior Girls Amateur tour.<\/p>\n<p>She currently competes in Division 1 golf in New York, and hopes to play in the U.S. Open and Chevron Championship one day.  She is set to cover the 2025 Ryder Cup as well. She is currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration and Management, and holds a Sports Marketing certification from Northwestern University, which helped her learn to draft press releases and ultimately transition into journalism.<\/p>\n<p>Lathika has thus developed a knowledge base that allows her to view golf from both player, spectator and media lenses, enabling her to bring statistics, insights and an understanding of fan emotion together in her copies. She only uses verified information from reliable sources like the PGA TOUR.<\/p>\n<p>Her favorite golfers are Nelly Korda and Tiger Woods, both for their playing style as well as their mental strength.
