The Crimson Tide had a disappointing outing last season, finishing with a 9-4 record and missing out on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/go\/ncaa-football-playoffs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">College Football Playoff<\/a> in Kalen DeBoer&#8217;s first season in charge of the program.<\/p>\n<p>In a recent installment of \u201cThe Triple Option\u201d podcast, Mark Ingram boldly predicted Alabama is going to go over its projected win for the 2025 season. The Crimson Tide currently have a 9.5 win projection but the Heisman Trophy winner sees his alma mater winning at least 11 games.<\/p>\n<p>Expressing confidence in DeBoer and his team, Mark Ingram broke down what the 2025 season would look like for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/team\/alabama-crimson-tide-football\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">Alabama<\/a> game-by-game. The Crimson Tide are scheduled to face the same teams as 2024 in conference games for the upcoming season. However, the game sites will be flipped.<\/p>\n<p><template id=\"also-read-articles-template\"><\/p>\n<p><\/template><\/p>\n<p><template id=\"bets-today-poll\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"preview-card-holder bets-today-poll\">\n<p><span class=\"date\"\/> \u2022 <span class=\"time\"\/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"march-madness-logo\" src=\"https:\/\/staticg.sportskeeda.com\/skm\/assets\/march-madness-logo.png\" height=\"42\" width=\"99\" alt=\"march madness logo\"\/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/template><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAt Florida State, we know the season they had,\u201d Ingram said. \u201cThey\u2019re gonna want to bounce back. Then you\u2019ve got ULM. Then you\u2019ve got Wisconsin\u2026 I\u2019m going 3-0. Then you\u2019ve got at Georgia. That\u2019s obviously going to be a dog fight.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThen you go Vandy, dub. Missouri, dub. Tennessee, revenge game, dub. South Carolina, at South Carolina, dub. LSU, dub. Oklahoma, revenge game again, dub. Eastern Illinois, dub. There\u2019s your 10.5 there. Auburn in the Iron Bowl, dub. That\u2019s an 11-piece. That\u2019s an 11-piece family meal.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>Mark Ingram expresses concern in Alabama playing Florida State in its non-conference game<\/h2>\n<p>Alabama opens the 2025 season at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/team\/florida-state-seminoles-football\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">Florida State<\/a>. While the Seminoles had an abysmal season in 2024, they will look to bounce back this year, creating some challenges for the Crimson Tide. Mark Ingram expresses concerns about playing that type of game in a non-conference schedule.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cYou talk about that at Florida State to pop off, week one,\u201d Ingram said. \u201cWe talked about the scheduling. We talked about the potential of scheduling these types of games to start the year and how it could really affect you.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cYou lose that game, and you\u2019re behind the eight-ball. Are you gonna get punished for it? Yes, you will. We saw that strength of schedule kind of didn\u2019t get taken into place last year. So, that to start off the season is going to be a big test.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>After Alabama missed out on the playoffs last season, there&#8217;s a widespread belief that the strength of schedule matters less in the decision of the CFP selection committee.
