Severance<\/em><\/a> has broken records for television series on Apple TV+. Per Deadline<\/em><\/a>, season 2 helped it surpass Ted Lasso<\/em> as the streamer\u2019s most watched show on the streamer. Led by main cast members<\/a> Adam Scott, Zach Cherry, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Jen Tullock<\/strong> and more, the mind-bending series keeps fans pining for more. After season 2, episode 6, titled \u201cAttila,\u201d premiered on February 21, 2025, new viewers needed some help in grappling with the plot. Below, Hollywood Life<\/strong> has a recap of the episode for all the new and returning fans of the show!<\/p>\n Seasons 1 and 2 of Severance<\/em> are currently streaming on Apple TV+. The first season premiered in 2022, and its second came out earlier this year in January 2025.<\/p>\n At the beginning of \u201cAttila,\u201d Mark is reeling from the visions of Gemma he saw in the previous episode, and he speaks with Reghabi at home about the stages of grief. While he\u2019s had to accept Gemma\u2019s supposed death, he is also shaken after seeing absent wife in her Lumon form, Ms. Casey.<\/p>\n Later in the episode, Mark and Helly share a moment to discuss \u201csharing vessels,\u201d as he puts it \u2014 a.k.a sleeping together. However, it dawns on Helly that Mark is actually referring to her outie, Helena, the conniving daughter of Lumon\u2019s CEO. Helly, aware that she\u2019s an innie, is trying to grapple with her outie\u2019s full control over her body. Helena used Helly to get to Mark, and the latter tries to help him understand that he\u2019s also been victimized by Helena.<\/p>\n Apple TV+ has not formally announced a renewal of Severance<\/em>, but Ben Stiller<\/a> <\/strong>told The Hollywood Reporter<\/em><\/a> that a writers room was underway in Los Angeles in February 2025.
