Despite\u00a0Kendrick Lamar<\/a><\/strong>\u2018s scathing Super Bowl halftime performance<\/a> on February 9 \u2014 a topic that still has fans buzzing \u2014 the target of his ubiquitous diss track, Drake<\/a><\/strong>, is evidently attempting to put it all in his rear-view mirror. According to Variety<\/em><\/a>, the rapper responded to the constant buzz about the feud<\/a> with a Valentine\u2019s Day album drop. \u201cSome Sexy Songs 4 U,\u201d a collab with PartyNextDoor<\/strong>, features a track called \u201cGimme a Hug,\u201d which seems to allude to Kendrick\u2019s performance of \u201cNot Like Us\u201d at the Super Bowl. \u201cF*** a rap beef, I\u2019m tryna get the party lit,\u201d he belts out.<\/p>\n

Despite the seeming allusion to putting it behind him, in November Drake sued Universal Music Group (though refrained from suing Kendrick himself) for defamation for promoting \u201cNot Like Us,\u201d which contains a particularly weighty allegation<\/a> about Drake.
