It\u2019s funny to think that there was once a time when\u00a0<\/a>Kendrick Lamar<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Drake<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>were once collaborators. Early on in both of their careers, Kendrick, 36, was featured on the Drake, 37, cut \u201cBuried Alive Interlude\u201d from his album\u00a0Take Care<\/em>. K.Dot also served as the opener on Drake\u2019s 2012 tour, and Drizzy made an appearance on Kendrick\u2019s song \u201cPoetic Justice\u201d from 2012\u2019s\u00a0Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City.<\/em><\/p>\n

In 2013, Kendrick took shots at tons of huge rappers in his guest verse on\u00a0Big Sean\u2019s\u00a0<\/strong>never-formally released song \u201cControl,\u201d including Drake. \u201cI got love for you all, but I\u2019m tryna murder you,\u201d Kendrick rapped in part. Though there was some back and forth and speculation that one of Drake\u2019s songs was a response to \u201cControl,\u201d the beef mostly went dormant for about a decade. As Kendrick dropped \u201ceuphoria\u201d at the end of April 2024, tons of fans were drawn into the feud between the two. While it\u2019s unclear if the sparring match is over, Drake has gotten the last word in at the time of publication.<\/p>\n
