Kansas City Chiefs quarterback\u00a0Patrick Mahomes<\/strong><\/a> is gearing up for his fourth Super Bowl championship on Sunday, February 11.\u00a0Mahomes has already won Super Bowl rings in 2020, 2023, and 2024, earning Super Bowl MVP in all three.\u00a0The Chiefs will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, similar to how they had in 2023.<\/p>\n

Besides his time on the field, Patrick has also gotten a lot of attention after his teammate\u00a0<\/a>Travis Kelce<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>began dating\u00a0Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a>. Patrick\u2019s wife Brittany<\/strong><\/a> has befriended the popstar, and the two have been cheering on the players from the sidelines throughout the 2024-2025 season. The QB has been super supportive of his pal\u2019s romance, and he\u2019s also gotten to know Taylor quite a bit through the season. \u201cIt\u2019s been cool to interact with her and see, because she\u2019s top tier at her profession, and see how she drives and she becomes that,\u201d he said during a December interview with\u00a0<\/a>CBS News<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em>\u201cIt is really cool and I\u2019m glad that she\u2019s the person that she is. Patrick Mahomes Has a Wife and Two Kids<\/h2>\n

Patrick married his high school sweetheart<\/a>, Brittany Mathews,\u00a0on March 12, 2022, in a romantic ceremony in Hawaii that was attended by their then 1-year-old daughter, Sterling Skye Mahomes<\/strong>. They welcomed their second child, a son named Patrick \u2018Bronze\u2019 Lavon Mahomes III<\/strong><\/a>. Brittany and Sterling were spotted celebrating on the field<\/a> at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. after his second Super Bowl win.<\/p>\n

Patrick Is Humble Despite His Fame and Fortune<\/h2>\n

Just before his NFL training camp started in Aug. 2020, Patrick held a socially-distance barbecue at his Dallas\u2013Fort Worth\u2013area mansion, according to Sports Illustrated<\/em><\/a>. According to the outlet, his mother worries that the fame and fortune he had earned himself would change who he is at the core. However, she found that her son was the same boy she had raised when she peaked into his pantry at the shindig and saw Cool Ranch Doritos, his favorite snack. \u201cYou look at all the changes, whether it\u2019s how big he is or this mustache he has right now that\u2019s driving me bananas, but he\u2019s still the same,\u201d she proudly noted at the time.<\/p>\n

Patrick Mahomes Has a Strong Arm<\/h2>\n

While the quarterback he beat during the 2023 Super Bowl \u2014 Jalen Hurts<\/strong> <\/a>\u2014 has super muscular legs, Patrick is known for his impressive throws. There Is Another Sport Close to Patrick Mahomes\u2019 Heart<\/h2>\n

Patrick Mahome\u2019s father, Pat Mahomes Sr.<\/strong>, was a pitcher in for Major League Baseball for 11 years. And although he does not play, baseball is still a huge part of Patrick\u2019s life because in 2020, he became a partial owner of the Kansas City Royals after buying a partial stake in the team, according to Insider<\/em><\/a>. The deal made him the youngest owner in MLB history. \u201cI\u2019m honored to become a part owner of the Kansas City Royals,\u201d he said in a statement in July 2020. \u201cI love this city and the people of this great town. This opportunity allows me to deepen my roots in this community, which is something I\u2019m excited to do.\u201d<\/p>\n

He made the move after landing a historic mega deal with the Chiefs by signing a $503 million, 12-year contract. It was the largest deal in all of American sports history.<\/p>\n

Patrick Mahomes Has a Passion for Shoes and Ketchup<\/h2>\n

If Patrick ever gets tired of breaking records in the NFL, he has another passion he can focus on: sneakers. In an Aug. 2019 video shared by Bleacher Report<\/em><\/a>, he showed off his and Brittany\u2019s new house and his custom-made shoe closet that holds his collection of 180 pairs although, at this point, it\u2019s likely he has more! \u201cI can wear each of them, like, twice a year,\u201d he said in the video before gushing how wonderful it felt to be a first-time home owner.<\/p>\n

Patrick is also a huge, huge<\/em> fan of ketchup. His favorite ketchup is actually from the Texas fast-food chain Whataburger. In the past, he\u2019s even tweeted<\/a> that he wants the restaurant to bring a location to Kansas City. Maybe they\u2019ll go ahead and do that now that the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl again and he was named MVP \u2014 again.<\/p>\n
