After a passionate romance that began in 2022 and lasted for about a year and a half, something seemed to go wrong<\/a>. Aside from the ups and downs of their relationship, Larsa and Marcus\u2019 romance had always drawn significant attention. Larsa, who was previously married to NBA legend Scottie Pippen<\/strong><\/a>\u2014\u00a0Michael Jordan<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s former Chicago Bulls teammate\u2014faced extra scrutiny due to the age gap between her and Michael\u2019s son. The polarizing pair was first linked on September 4, 2022, stepping out for lunch at high-profile Japanese restaurant Zuma in Miami. TMZ<\/em> <\/a>reported at the time that it was a double date, with another couple joining them. According to the outlet, Larsa \u201cseemed to be trying to keep a low profile and got a little skittish when she realized folks had spotted her\/were taking pics.\u201d The appearance came almost a year after Larsa parted ways with Scottie after 19 years and four children<\/a> together in December of 2021.<\/p>\n

Later that month, also per TMZ<\/em><\/a>, they were seen at the Rolling Loud Music Festival in New York, packing on the PDA.<\/p>\n

October 2022: Larsa Claims They\u2019re \u2018Just Friends\u2019<\/h2>\n

Though it was apparent they had a physical attraction, Larsa pushed back on rampant dating rumors the following month with a firm denial. \u201cWe\u2019re friends,\u201d she PEOPLE<\/em><\/a> at BravoCon that year of Marcus. \u201cWe\u2019ve been friends for a few years and that\u2019s really what it is. We\u2019re friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

December 2022: Marcus Escorts Larsa to \u2018RHOM\u2019 Season 5 Premiere Party<\/h2>\n

That winter, things seemed to heat up, with the former college athlete attending the RHOM<\/em> premiere party as Larsa\u2019s apparent date. The Daily Mail<\/em> <\/a>shared pics of the December 8 outing, with Larsa rocking a sparkling micro-mini cutout dress alongside Marcus, who wore a bright orange and black shirt. Those dating denials became a little more difficult to keep up when Larsa and Marcus were seen kissing<\/a> during a romantic walk in Miami Beach on January 7, 2023. She rocked a sexy Jean Paul Gaultier swimsuit and matching black shorts as she reached up for the affectionate kiss, while Marcus wore a matching black top and shorts \u2014 and a hat with the Air Jordan logo on the side.<\/p>\n

The gesture confirmed what fans had been suspecting for months \u2014 Larsa and Marcus were ON!<\/p>\n

January 23, 2023: Larsa & Marcus go IG Official<\/h2>\n

Larsa finally took the whole thing public on January 23, 2023, with a pic of the couple snuggling up during an outing to an athletic shoe store. After the couple went Instagram official<\/a>, a source told PEOPLE<\/em> a few days later, \u201cThey are definitely into each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

February 2023: Marcus & Larsa Are Each Other\u2019s Valentines<\/h2>\n

Marcus made their first Valentine\u2019s Day together ultra romantic, sharing a pic of the reality TV beauty holding two massive bouquets. \u201cThree words, 8 letters\ud83d\udc96\u2728\ud83c\udf39Happy Valentines Day, Babe\u2764\ufe0f\u200d\ud83d\udd25,\u201d he captioned the February 14, 2023, post. Larsa\u2019s post was even more revealing. Alongside a sexy pic of the duo on the beach, she wrote, \u201cMy forever Valentine,\u201d alongside a red heart emoji.<\/p>\n

June 2023: The Couple Launches Their Podcast<\/h2>\n

On June 13, 2023, Marcus and Larsa ushered in a new era for their relationship with the Separation Anxiety<\/em> podcast via iHeartRadio<\/em><\/a>. It would serve as a platform to discuss their (already widely discussed) relationship, and they took the assignment to heart.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn my mind, when I would be like, \u2018What am I looking for?\u2019 Age was not one of the things that was on my list,\u201d Larsa divulged during a June 2023 episode. \u201cIt was more about character, person. July 2023: Michael Jordan Enters the Discussion<\/h2>\n

Up until July of 2023, nobody knew for sure what Marcus\u2019 NBA legend dad thought of the relationship. A blunt answer<\/a> came when TMZ<\/em><\/a> approached Michael and asked him if he approved on July 3. \u201cNo!\u201d he exclaimed before jumping into a waiting vehicle. He then doubled down after the question was repeated, shaking his head \u201cno.\u201d<\/p>\n

Marcus pushed back in an interview with Entertainment Tonight<\/em> on July 5. \u201cWe spent Thanksgiving together<\/a> last year, and my family loves her,\u201d he told the outlet during a joint interview. \u201cThey think she\u2019s great. Engagement rumors kicked into overdrive when Larsa was spotted out with Marcus for a dinner date in West Hollywood on August 17 \u2014 wearing a massive diamond ring<\/a>. Adding fuel to the fire, Marcus told TMZ<\/em> during the outing that they were \u201clooking for a location\u201d for a venue for a wedding, adding that it was \u201cin the works.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alas, they took to their podcast on August 22 to shoot down the speculation and laugh off Marcus\u2019 comments to the outlet as a joke. \u201cObviously, we were at dinner the other night, and paparazzi got us leaving the restaurant and asked us if there were wedding plans in the works, and so, I think I responded in a cheeky way,\u201d Marcus said.<\/p>\n

Larsa clarified: \u201cI was like\u00a0I\u2019m so excited, but no, we\u2019re not engaged. You did give me a promise ring.\u201d They did admit to talking about marriage and a potential destination wedding.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

September 2023: The Couple Joins \u2018The Traitors\u2019<\/h2>\n

Expanding past Separation Anxiety<\/em>, it was revealed on September 20, 2023, that the couple was joining Season 2 of The Traitors<\/em> <\/a>on Peacock, set to film in Scotland. The reality competition series is hosted by Alan Cummings<\/strong>, and the appearance would make them an official reality TV couple. The show premiered in January 2024 and Larsa and Marcus were both eliminated in the early episodes. They\u2019re set to film the reunion in March 2024.<\/p>\n

February 11, 2024: Larsa Removes Marcus From Her Instagram Account<\/h2>\n

On Super Bowl Sunday, February 11, Larsa abruptly unfollowed and removed her photos of Marcus from her Instagram account, effectively launching apparent breakup rumors. Marcus also removed photos of Larsa from his grid. The RHOM<\/em> beauty also shared a Yes\/No poll via Instagram Stories asking, \u201cShould your friends unfollow your ex.\u201d<\/p>\n

Marcus posted that he was spending time with his father<\/a> for the big game night. A report on Monday, February 12, claimed to confirm the split. \u00a0\u201cThey\u2019re not together,\u201d a source reportedly told Page Six<\/em><\/a>, adding that the split arose because of \u201ctension\u201d with Marcus\u2019 famous dad. \u00a0\u201cMarcus said Michael was joking when he said he didn\u2019t approve, but it really mortified Larsa,\u201d the source alleged.<\/p>\n

A separate source confirmed the split to HollywoodLife<\/strong> the same day, pushing back on reports that it was due to issues with Marcus\u2019 dad.\u00a0 \u201cThey have decided to take some time apart to reevaluate their relationship. February 14, 2024: Larsa and Marcus Reunite on Valentine\u2019s Day<\/h2>\n

Despite the split reports, Larsa and Marcus were seen shopping for flowers together in Miami on Valentine\u2019s Day. They left Trias Flowers & Gifts with a vase carrying dozen roses and went back to Larsa\u2019s house together, per TMZ<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

February 20, 2024: Sources Deny Engagement Rumors After Larsa Wears a Huge Diamond Ring<\/h2>\n

During their outing on Valentine\u2019s Day, Larsa wore a massive diamond ring on her left hand ring finger, but sources told TMZ<\/em><\/a> that she and Marcus are not engaged. The insiders confirmed that the eye-catching piece of jewelry was a piece from Larsa\u2019s own jewelry collection and not a symbol of a future marriage. They also said it features a 5-carat yellow diamond with other diamonds around it. Although there\u2019s no engagement, the lovebirds are still reportedly working through their issues as they enjoy rekindling their romance.<\/p>\n

March 20, 2024: Larsa and Marcus Call It Quits (Again)<\/h2>\n

Larsa officially ended her relationship with Marcus, a source confirmed to Entertainment Tonight<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cLarsa realized this relationship is just not the one for her after spending some more time apart, filming a new show,\u201d the source shared. \u201cShe wants to move on and focus on improving her life. They simply want different things out of life.\u201d<\/p>\n

March 25, 2024: Larsa Explains Why Her Break from Marcus Made Her Realize He\u2019s Not \u201cMy Guy\u201d<\/h2>\n

During a March 26 episode of Amy Robach<\/strong> and T.J. Holmes<\/strong>\u2018s podcast \u201cAmy and T.J.<\/a>\u201c<\/em>, Larsa reflected on her relationship with Marcus. She explained that being alone helped her realize the relationship wasn\u2019t right for her.<\/p>\n

July 24, 2024: Larsa Confirms Her Relationship with Marcus \u201cIs Off\u201d<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight<\/em><\/a>, Larsa confirmed their relationship was over, stating, \u201cI think it\u2019s off. I mean, it\u2019s off. It is off,\u201d and added, \u201cI feel like I\u2019m good. I\u2019m good.\u201d<\/p>\n

November 25, 2024: Larsa Reveals She\u2019s Not in Contact with Marcus\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n
