Final Destination Bloodlines <\/em><\/a>resurrects a horrifically bloody franchise after nearly a decade and a half away. \u00a0Ahead of the sixth installment\u2019s highly anticipated release, here\u2019s what we know about where you\u2019ll be able to stream it.<\/p>\n

Following a time-honored tradition of summer horror flicks, Final Destination: Bloodlines<\/em> will debut in U.S. theaters (and on IMAX) on Friday, May 16, 2025.\u00a0 And according to the series\u2019 original creator, Jeffrey Reddick<\/strong>, Bloodlines<\/em> is taking a much different approach.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis film doesn\u2019t just kind of add another layer,\u201d he told Collider<\/em><\/a> in a 2023 interview. \u201cUsually there\u2019s a new layer every film where it\u2019s like, \u2018Oh, well, this can save you or this can save you.\u2019 This film dives into the film in such a unique way that it attacks it from a different angle so you don\u2019t feel like, \u2018Oh, there\u2019s an amazing setup and then there\u2019s gonna be one wrinkle that can potentially save you all that you have to kind of make a moral choice about or do to solve it.\u2019 There\u2019s an expansion of the universe that \u2013 I\u2019m being so careful.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, adding that the new film \u201cunearths\u201d a new \u201clayer.\u201d \u201cThere\u2019s an expansion of the world of\u00a0Final Destination<\/em> that I think fans are gonna be really interested in and intrigued by,\u201d he divulged to the outlet. \u201cWhen I say it doesn\u2019t add a layer, it\u2019s not just, \u2018Hey, if you murder somebody in your place, you\u2019ll live.\u2019 It kind of unearths a whole deep layer to the story that kind of, yes, makes it really, really interesting.\u201d<\/p>\n
