Despite the wildfires that ripped through Los Angeles<\/a> in the first week of 2025, the Grammy Awards<\/a> are set to air this evening from downtown L.A. \u201cThe music is playing and the stage is set: the 67th\u00a0#GRAMMYs are here,\u201d read an Instagram post on the Grammys official social page on Sunday morning, February 2, 2025. \u201cTune in tonight for a very special GRAMMY Awards, where we look back at the music that defined this last year and honor the bravery, strength, and resilience of the greater Los Angeles community.\u201d<\/p>\n

The caption, which ran alongside a promotional video ahead of the ceremony, also reiterated that the telecast will support wildfire relief for Los Angeles\u2019 many impacted residents. \u201cTonight\u2019s telecast will raise additional funds to support the wildfire relief efforts and showcase how the power of music can help rebuild, uplift and support those in need.\u201d it concluded.<\/p>\n

In addition to a scheduled performance at the 2025 Grammys, Billie is also nominated<\/a> for song of the year, best pop solo performance, and record of the year for \u201cBirds of a Feather,\u201d in addition to album of the year and best pop vocal album for Hit Me Hard and Soft. <\/em>According to Billboard<\/a>, <\/em>she\u2019s also nominated for best pop duo\/group performance for \u201cGuess\u201d with Charlie XCX<\/strong> and best dance pop recording for \u201cL\u2019AMOUR DE MA VIE [OVER NOW EXTENDED EDIT].\u201d<\/p>\n

Sabrina Carpenter<\/h2>\n

Sabrina Carpenter<\/strong><\/a> is also scheduled to perform at the Grammys tonight. She\u2019s going up against Eilish for record of the year and best pop solo performance for \u201cEspresso,\u201d Album of the Year and best pop vocal album for Short n Sweet<\/em>, and Song of the Year for \u201cPlease Please Please.\u201d She\u2019s also up for the highly coveted best new artist award, and best remixed recording award for \u201cEspresso.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stevie Wonder<\/strong><\/a>, 74, is a music legend whose star rose in the 1980s with hits like \u201cIsn\u2019t She Lovely,\u201d \u201cI Just Called to Say I Love You,\u201d and \u201cSuperstition,\u201d among others.<\/p>\n

Chappell Roan<\/h2>\n

In addition to performing, pop sensation Chappell Roan <\/strong><\/a>is nominated in several categories, including record of the year, best pop solo performance, and song of the year for \u201cGood Luck, Babe,\u201d album of the year and best pop vocal album for The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, <\/em>and best new artist.<\/p>\n

John Legend<\/h2>\n

John Legend<\/strong><\/a>, 46, is almost as famous for his family life with Chrissy Teigen<\/strong><\/a> as he is for his music. The singer and The Voice<\/em> <\/a>coach is performing and is nominated for best children\u2019s music album for My Favorite Dream<\/em> and is also up for a handful of collaborative nominations.<\/p>\n

Cynthia Erivo<\/h2>\n
\n<\/blockquote>\n

Fresh off a prestigious best actress Oscar nomination<\/a> for Wicked<\/em><\/a>, Cynthia Erivo<\/strong><\/a> is expecte20d to perform at the Grammys on Sunday evening. Cynthia is not nominated for any 2025 Grammys, but she won a 2017 Grammy for best musical theater album for The Color Purple and was nominated in 2020 for best song written for visual media for \u201cStand Up.\u201d<\/p>\n
