In 2014, the British artist reportedly broke her hip, then later suffered from an infection at the prosthesis.<\/p>\n During a previous interview with The Guardian<\/em><\/a>, Faithfull got candid about her past drug usage.<\/p>\n \u201cI must have given up then or I wouldn\u2019t have got into heroin,\u201d she admitted. \u201cIt\u2019s like wanting to kill yourself but I didn\u2019t manage to. I realized that I couldn\u2019t get out of it that easily. And if I didn\u2019t do anything good my life would have been nothing to me.
