Drew Hancock<\/strong>\u2018s Companion<\/em> isn\u2019t about what we\u2019d call a \u201chealthy relationship.\u201d It\u2019s essentially about a companion robot and the various complications that come from inviting AI into our lives and our very homes. \u201cI thought it was one of the best scripts I\u2019ve ever read in my life,\u201d co-star Jack Quaid <\/a><\/strong>told The Hollywood Reporter <\/em><\/a>in an interview published January 28. \u00a0\u201cI love that people tend to be favoring going in blind to this movie, which I think is a really great way to see it. I wouldn\u2019t describe it as a twist movie where like it depends on how hard that twist hits, whether it\u2019s good or not, but I still think it\u2019s a great movie that stands on its own regardless.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sophie previously starred in Mormon-themed horror flick Heretic<\/em> opposite Hugh Grant<\/strong><\/a>, and appeared in\u00a0The Boogeyman<\/em>, MaXXXine,<\/em>\u00a0and Showtime\u2019s Yellowjackets.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n

He stars opposite Sophie as Josh, the object of her love and later, her rage.<\/p>\n

Megan Suri<\/h2>\n

Megan Suri<\/strong> is known for TV series appearances in Atypical<\/em>,<\/a> Never Have I Ever<\/em> and Fresh Off the Boat<\/em>, among others. In 2023, she appeared in supernatural horror movie It Lives Inside <\/em>and mystery thriller Missing.<\/em><\/p>\n

Rupert Friend<\/h2>\n

English actor Rupert Friend<\/strong><\/a>, 43,\u00a0memorably appeared as Mr. Wickham in Joe Wright<\/strong>\u2018s sweeping adaptation of Pride & Prejudice <\/em>in 2005.
