Duck Dynasty<\/em>?<\/h2>\nMartin and McMillan revealed on their podcast that Uncle Si \u201cfell trying to get out of the boat,\u201d pointing out that the fall was \u201csteep.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cTypical Silas Robertson, he\u2019s in a dang hurry to get out of the boat and into the Polaris, he fell,\u201d Martin said. \u201cHe went to take a long step instead of waiting on us,\u201dw<\/p>\n
Though Martin said that Robertson \u201cbounced right back up,\u201d he admitted that Uncle Si \u201cdidn\u2019t want anybody to see that he fell,\u201d but \u201cthe problem is you\u2019re covered in mud now, like we know you fell.\u201d<\/p>\n
After getting back to the clubhouse to enjoy breakfast, Martin recalled they looked around and \u201cthere\u2019s no Si\u201d anywhere, adding that Robertson was \u201cjust sitting outside in the cold.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n<\/blockquote>\n\u201cI immediately thought he had a concussion because it was out of character,\u201d Martin pointed out, before McMillan added, \u201cI get a call from Christine\u2019s caretaker, Elizabeth. She says, \u2018Phillip, we\u2019re heading to the ER.’\u201d<\/p>\n
Robertson was hospitalized because his oxygen level was low, which could have been from a panic attack, the co-hosts pointed out.<\/p>\n
\u201cI said, \u2018What is going on?\u2019 And I figured he would start laughing and talking. [But] no, he said, \u2018Man, I\u2019m in a lot of pain,’\u201d McMillan noted. \u201cHe said, \u2018I fell duck hunting and I think I broke some ribs.\u2019 He always thinks it\u2019s worse than it is.\u201d<\/p>\n
Is Uncle Si Still Alive?<\/h2>\n
Fortunately, yes, Robertson is alive and recovering from his injury, Martin and McMillan pointed out. After performing X-rays and blood work, McMillan revealed that \u201ceverything came back good\u201d with \u201cno broken ribs [or] bruised ribs.\u201d<\/p>\n
Multiple X users baselessly speculated that Robertson had died.<\/p>\n
Si Robertson\u2019s Health History<\/h2>\n\n<\/blockquote>\nMore than two years before his recent hospitalization, Uncle Si had surgery on his lungs in September 2022. At the time, he had trouble breathing, which Robertson attributed to his smoking habits, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (a.k.a COPD) and even complications from COVID-19.<\/p>\n
