Billy Ray Cyrus<\/strong><\/a> has apparently worried his family, especially his children. Following his eyebrow-raising January 2025 inauguration performance<\/a>, Billy Ray\u2019s son Trace Cyrus<\/strong><\/a> revealed he and his siblings are concerned about their father\u2019s health. So, what\u2019s going on with the \u201cOld Town Road\u201d artist?<\/p>\n

Hollywood Life<\/strong> has compiled everything we know so far about Billy Ray\u2019s health below.<\/p>\n

How Is Billy Ray Cyrus\u2019 Health?<\/h2>\n

Billy Ray has not publicly revealed any health issues. However, Trace claimed his father is \u201cnot healthy\u201d in a lengthy January 2025 Instagram<\/a> post, which read, \u201cSince my earliest memories all I can remember is being obsessed with you and thinking you were the coolest person ever. I wanted to be just like you. The day you adopted me was the happiest day of my life. Sadly the man that I wanted so desperately to be just like I barely recognize now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt seems this world has beaten you down and it\u2019s become obvious to everyone but you,\u201d Trace continued in his caption. \u201cYou may be upset with me for posting this but I really could care less at this point.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trace then pointed out that he and his sisters, whom he referred to as \u201cthe girls,\u201d have been \u201cgenuinely worried\u201d about Billy Ray \u201cfor years\u201d and accused him of pushing all of them away. The Cyrus sibling then claimed that Noah Cyrus<\/strong><\/a> \u201chas wanted [their dad] to be a part of her life\u201d and accused Billy Ray of not being \u201cthere for her.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s your baby girl. She deserves better,\u201d Trace elaborated, referring to Noah. \u201cSomehow just like me she still idolizes you though. We are all hanging on to memories of the man we once knew & hoping for the day he returns. You\u2019re not healthy, Dad & everyone is noticing it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trace concluded his open letter by emphasizing that \u201cthis message only comes from a place of love and also fear that the world may lose you far too soon.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI love you, Dad,\u201d he wrote, before adding, \u201cWe haven\u2019t talked in a while but I\u2019m over a year and half clean from alcohol. Guess what? I feel amazing. I don\u2019t know what you\u2019re struggling with exactly, but I think I have a pretty good idea & I\u2019d love to help you if you would open up and receive the help. You know how to reach me. Till that day comes, I will continue to pray for you.\u201d<\/p>\n

During Donald Trump<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s inaugural Liberty Ball<\/a>, Billy Ray complained of experiencing technical issues while on stage. He played his hits \u201cOld Town Road\u201d and \u201cAchy Breaky Heart.\u201d<\/p>\n

While on stage, Billy Ray appeared to become agitated when technical difficulties arose, saying, \u201cCheck. Is anybody awake? I don\u2019t hear it. Do y\u2019all hear this? Where\u2019s everybody at? Check. Is anyone back there? Can someone turn my guitar back on? We\u2019re gonna sing a little bit more. \u2026 Y\u2019all want me to sing more or you just want me to get the hell off the stage? I don\u2019t give a damn.\u201d<\/p>\n

He then told the crowd,\u00a0\u201cIn life, when you have technical difficulties, you just gotta keep going, or as President Trump would say, \u2018You gotta fight.’\u201d<\/p>\n
