Though the rapper has not publicly commented on the reports, many of his fans expressed their shock at the news and asked whether or not he is a Republican.<\/p>\n

What Has Snoop Dogg Said About Donald Trump?<\/h2>\n

In the past, Snoop has made several controversial comments about the former host of The Apprentice<\/em>. During a 2016 interview with Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a>, the \u201cDrop It Like It\u2019s Hot\u201d hitmaker blasted Trump and his supporters, including Kanye \u201cYe\u201d West<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow could we have someone as reckless as him running our country?\u201d Snoop asked. \u201cI been around for a long time. I seen Jimmy Carter<\/strong><\/a>, Ronald Reagan<\/strong><\/a>, Bushes, Clintons. And I never seen a motherf**ker like him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Snoop has not disclosed whether he is a registered Democrat, Republican or an Independent voter. However, in a viral video that circulated online in November 2024, the record producer emphasized that he was \u201cnot looking for separation.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not looking for division \u2014 I\u2019m looking for people to come together,\u201d Snoop said in the clip, according to The Wrap<\/em><\/a>. \u201cAnd I just want to say this: When all of the hoopla was going on with the voting, notice how I was nowhere to be seen? \u2026\u00a0\u2019Cause I don\u2019t believe in separating people. I believe in bringing us together.\u201d<\/p>\n

He elaborated that if \u201cyou\u2019re picking and choosing\u201d sides, now he would \u201cmake people mad at [him], because [he] chose this or chose that.\u201d<\/p>\n
