LSU moved up to No. 5 after improving their record to 18-0 with an 89-87 victory over then-No. 16 Tennessee on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>This marks a return to near-peak rankings for Kim Mulkey\u2019s Tigers, who were ranked as high as No. 4 earlier this season. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/college-basketball\/uconn-huskies\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">UConn<\/a> (15-2) also moved up to No. 6, while Texas (16-2) slipped to No. 7 following a loss to South Carolina in SEC play.
