Following his dominant outing over the weekend, one former NBA<\/a> champion said that the young guard is deserving of a nod this year.<\/p>\n On Saturday night, the Pistons squared off against the Minnesota Timberwolves. It would end up being a duel between a pair of former top picks, and Cunningham and Anthony Edwards<\/a> had big nights. Despite a career-high 53 points from the Timberwolves star, it was the Pistons who walked away with a win.<\/p>\n A big reason why the Pistons were able to spoil Edwards’ night was the play of Cade Cunningham.
