Allison Holker, <\/strong><\/a>36, is famous for her marriage to the late Stephen \u201ctWitch\u201d Boss<\/a><\/strong>, her appearances on So You Think You Can Dance\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Dancing With The Stars<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>and now, being an author. According to PEOPLE<\/em><\/a>, the High School Musical<\/em><\/a> alum is gearing up for the release of her memoir,\u00a0This Far: My Story of Love, Loss, and Embracing the Light,\u00a0<\/em><\/a>due to drop on February 4, 2025. In it, per the outlet, she recounts the \u201ctrauma\u201d she experienced during Boss\u2019s death<\/a> by suicide on December 13, 2022.<\/p>\n

Of the book, she told the outlet, \u201cIt gave me more of a focus and more of a purpose, and I really hope I can be an advocate and a voice to people that feel alone or left behind,\u201d she explained. \u201cI want them to see that life can keep going, and that\u2019s why the book\u2019s called This Far<\/em>, because it is not the end. This is just the beginning of a new [chapter].\u201d But backlash ensued, with criticism leveled at the dancer for allegedly sharing personal details following Boss\u2019 death.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo fans of Stephen and our family and friends, I want to be clear that my only intention in writing the book is to share my own story as well as part of my life with Stephen to help other people,\u201d she wrote via Instagram stories<\/a> on January 8, 2025. \u201cJust like you, I never really knew what happened, and even as I am trying to put the pieces together I will never really know.\u201d<\/p>\n

During their marriage, which began in 2013, they shared three children. Get to know each of them below.<\/p>\n

Weslie Renae Fowler<\/h2>\n
\n<\/blockquote>\n

Allison\u2019s first daughter Weslie Fowler<\/strong>, 16, was from a previous relationship, though Boss adopted her and according to PEOPLE<\/em><\/a>, they shared a \u201cspecial bond.\u201d \u201cShe\u2019s so cool. She\u2019s such a good kid,\u201d he told Jennifer Hudson<\/strong><\/a> in 2022. \u201cShe\u2019s so respectful.\u201d In August of 2024, Allison shared with the same outlet that she and her daughter are close, as well. \u201cWe lean on each other in our high moments, but also our low moments, when we\u2019re really emotional or triggered or going through something,\u201d she shared. \u201cI\u2019m really, really grateful that she sees me and I see her. We listen to each other and we communicate.\u201d<\/p>\n

Weslie enjoys soccer and is currently a senior in high school.<\/p>\n

Maddox Laurel Boss<\/h2>\n

He\u2019s now 8 years old, and in an exclusive interview<\/a> with\u00a0HollywoodLife <\/strong>in 2017, tWitch revealed that dance is \u201cnatural\u201d for him. \u201cHe just wants to be moving. Truth be told, he\u2019s mine and Allison\u2019s son so that\u2019s kinda where we get that from,\u201d he told HL at the time. \u201cHere in the house, we\u2019ll have music playing and we have impromptu dance parties all the time so, for Maddox that\u2019s just normal life!\u201d<\/p>\n

On his 8th birthday in March of 2024, Allison took to social media to praise her son. \u201cHappy Birthday MADDOX.. 8 years old! This kid lights up the world. He has the most beautiful spirit that lifts everyone up around him so full of energy and love. So proud of you! Together forever!\u201d she captioned the photo post, along with an adorable photo carousel.<\/p>\n

Zaia Boss<\/h2>\n

Allison and tWitch\u2019s youngest child Zaia Boss<\/strong>, 5, was born to the couple in November of 2019. In a sweet Instagram<\/a> post, she shared the good news, calling her a \u201chealthy beautiful angel\u201d and announcing her name.\u00a0 On November 3, 2024, the Dancing With the Stars beauty took to Instagram again to wish her baby girl a happy 5th birthday. \u201cIt\u2019s My babygirl ZAIAs BIRTHDAY today!\u201d she captioned the birthday tribute<\/a>. \u201cShe is 5 going on 20. I am so proud of how far she has come. My angel has a heart of gold and the scream of a lion \ud83d\ude02\ud83d\ude02 and I am completely obsessed with her!\u201d<\/p>\n
