The SAG Awards are among Hollywood\u2019s most prestigious awards ceremonies, so host Kristen Bell<\/a> will have a big job on her hands. \u201cThrilled to be hosting the SAG Awards<\/a> again this year\u201d she said, per Parade<\/a><\/em>, of the honor. \u201cI\u2019m honored to be asked back and can\u2019t wait to share the evening with my fellow actors, doing what we do best\u2026 celebrating ourselves.\u201d Hilarious quips aside, Bell will certainly be in her element \u2014 she successfully hosted the SAG Awards back in 2018.<\/p>\n

Nominations were officially announced<\/a> on January 8, 2025. Amid the devastating Los Angeles wildfires<\/a>, the organization opted to cancel the in-person announcements, which were to be made by Bullet Train <\/em>star Joey King<\/strong><\/a> and Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story <\/em>star Cooper Koch<\/strong>. Instead, the nominees were posted directly to the SAG Awards site<\/a>, along with a press release.<\/p>\n

Stars including Demi Moore<\/strong><\/a>, Adrien Brody<\/strong>, Cynthia Erivo<\/strong>, Kieran Culkin<\/strong><\/a>, Collin Farrell<\/strong>, Gary Oldman<\/strong><\/a>, Jeff Bridges<\/strong>, Kathy Bates<\/strong><\/a>, Quinta Brunson<\/strong>, and even show host Bell are among the many talented actors vying for awards.<\/p>\n

The 2025 SAG Award Lifetime Achievement Award will go to Monster in Law<\/em> star Jane Fonda<\/strong><\/a>. \u201cJane Fonda is a trailblazer and an extraordinary talent; a dynamic force who has shaped the landscape of entertainment, advocacy and culture with unwavering passion,\u201d SAG-AFTRA president Fran Drescher<\/strong> <\/a>said in a press releasing announcing the new recipient. \u201cWe honor Jane not only for her artistic brilliance but for the profound legacy of activism and empowerment she has created. Her fearless honesty has been an inspiration to me and many others in our industry.\u201d<\/p>\n
