The Dolphins are still in the running for the postseason, thanks to that outcome and their victory over the Cleveland Browns in Week 17.<\/p>\n<p>In Week 18, the Dolphins will square off against the 4-12 New York Jets, who are currently seventh in the 2025 NFL draft order. It&#8217;s unclear what put Lamm on injured reserve, given he played against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 16 and Cleveland on Sunday after missing the Week 15 game against the Houston Texans due to a back injury.<\/p>\n<p>Linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. (knee), safety Jordan Poyer (knee\/finger), and offensive tackle Terron Armstead (knee) also missed Miami&#8217;s practice on Wednesday. Defensive tackle Calais Campbell (rest) was also DNP, but he&#8217;s not dealing with any injury.<\/p>\n<p>Walker has not yet returned to practice after missing last week&#8217;s victory over the Cleveland Browns. Regarding Armstead, he went down with a knee injury during the first half of last weekend&#8217;s game and never returned.<\/p>\n<p>Four other important Dolphins players were also listed as limited participants in Wednesday&#8217;s practice: safety Jevon Holland (wrist), punter Jake Bailey (back), wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (knee), wide receiver Tyreek Hill (wrist\/rest), and Tagovailoa (hip).<\/p>\n<p>Tagovailoa is struggling with a hip injury he acquired against the Houston Texans in Week 15. He was able to play with the injury in Week 16 against the 49ers but was unable to play last week against the Browns.<\/p>\n<p>Coach Mike McDaniel announced on Wednesday that the team would get backup quarterback <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/nfl\/tyler-huntley\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">Tyler Huntley<\/a> ready as the QB1 for Week 18.
