Jocelyn Wildenstein<\/strong><\/a>, famous for her \u201cCatwoman\u201d appearance obtained via plastic surgery, has died at the age of 84.\u00a0 According to PEOPLE<\/em><\/a>, her boyfriend, Lloyd Klein<\/strong>, said she died in her sleep<\/a> on New Year\u2019s Eve 2024 while taking a nap. Klein told the outlet that she had phlebitis. \u201cBecause of her phlebitis, the legs were very, very swollen, and the blood was blocked, and there was no oxygen in the brain,\u201d he says. \u201cAnd we were having a nap and when I wake up, I said, \u2018Jocelyn, we have to wake up, we have to get dressed,\u2019 and she was cold and she was dead.\u201d The Times <\/em><\/a>reported her cause of death to be a pulmonary embolism.\u00a0The duo was in Paris.<\/p>\n

According to Comingsoon.net<\/em><\/a>, Klein is a fashion designer hailing from Paris, France. He holds an architecture degree from \u00c9cole Nationale Sup\u00e9rieure des Arts D\u00e9coratifs, and worked in New York as an architect before turning his attention to fashion. He has his own label, and per the outlet, his fashions have been donned by A-listers including the late Natalie Nicole<\/strong>, Nicki Minaj<\/strong><\/a>, and Paula Abdul<\/strong><\/a>, among others.<\/p>\n

Klein and Wildenstein met at Fashion Week<\/a> in 2003, and in 2017, they announced their engagement after 14 years of dating. According to the Daily Mail<\/em><\/a>, Klein popped the question with a dramatic, 32-carat diamond ring. The big moment took place at the Versace mansion in Miami. \u201cIt was romantic, dramatic and wonderful,\u201d he told the outlet at the time. \u201cI showed Jocelyn the ring and she said \u2018yes!\u2019 \u2013 she was in heaven.\u201d<\/p>\n

The couple never got around to making it official, and Klein shared his devastation at her death in comments published January 1. \u201cIt\u2019s very sad.
