They eloped in July of that year in Hawaii but didn\u2019t reveal the big news until November. Jordin recalled her wedding in an interview with PEOPLE<\/em><\/a> in 2017, nothing that she and Dana \u201chadn\u2019t had a set plan or anything\u201d for their vows.<\/p>\n \u201cWe were like, \u2018If it happens, it happens. If it doesn\u2019t, that\u2019s OK too,\u201d she explained, before describing her seaside ceremony. \u201cWe all get in the water and we\u2019re having a good time and I just was like \u2018Morgan [her best friend] \u2026 why don\u2019t you do it right now?\u2019 And she was like \u2018OK.’\u201d<\/p>\n Jordin is a mother to one child: her son, Dana Isaiah \u201cDJ\u201d Jr<\/strong>. She gave birth to DJ in May 2018. During an interview with Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> two years later, Jordin said that she and her husband weren\u2019t planning on having more kids.<\/p>\n \u201cYeah, I\u2019m good with one. We\u2019re both good,\u201d she told the publication in 2020, before explaining, \u201cAs a mom, knowing myself and going through this for the first time, I\u2019m just like, \u2018You know what? I want to be able to keep my focus on DJ.\u2019 Because trying to split the attention from Dana to DJ was a lot for me. I\u2019m a giver.
