The Southern Charm<\/em><\/a> stars dated for three years, and DeSorbo was the first to break the news that they\u2019d called it quits during the December 30 episode of her\u00a0Giggly Squad<\/em><\/a> podcast. \u201cIt\u2019s weird, it\u2019s very weird. I wasn\u2019t expecting this,\u201d she said of the split in conversation with co-host Hannah Berner<\/strong>, via PEOPLE<\/em><\/a>. \u201cObviously, when we first started dating, you don\u2019t think, \u2018Oh, what will happen? Will we get married, will we not?\u2019 You\u2019re just kind of like, in this relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n

Craig Conover is a former cast member of Bravo\u2019s Winter House<\/em><\/a>, a guest cast member of Summer House<\/em><\/a>, and is best known for his appearance on the network\u2019s Southern Charm<\/em>. Conover, 34, met Paige DeSorbo during the first season of Winter House<\/em>, per PEOPLE<\/em>, and the duo dated for three years. He was previously in relationships with Naomie Olindo<\/strong> and Natalie Hegnauer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Conover is also a businessman. Per Wikipedia<\/em>, he\u2019s a co-owner of Mesu, a Charleston restaurant, along with Southern Charm<\/i>\u00a0co-star\u00a0Leva Bonaparte<\/strong>, and New York City restaurant Carriage House with Austen Kroll<\/strong>. Per Entertainment Tonight<\/em><\/a>, the duo has a partnership with Uptown Hospitality Group as co-owners of By the Way, as well. He wrote a memoir in 2022 titled Pillow Talk: What\u2019s Wrong With My Sewing?<\/em><\/p>\n

According to Bravo<\/a>, Conover is an attorney, graduating from Charleston School of Law in 2014 and opening the Charleston-based Craig Conover Law Firm in 2021.<\/p>\n

But DeSorbo claims it\u2019s a friendly breakup, per her appearance on the December 30 episode of Giggly Squad.\u00a0<\/em><\/a>\u201cI have so much love and respect for Craig,\u201d she said, per PEOPLE<\/em>. \u201cI think he is one of the best people I have ever met in my entire life. I will remain the biggest fan of him and want the best for him and he truly will get the best because he is the best. But with that said, I think it was just the right decision for both of us moving forward in our lives and the direction in our lives that we didn\u2019t force.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Conover seemed to have different plans. According to PEOPLE<\/em><\/a>, he claimed they had plans for marriage, just weeks before their stunning split. \u201cWe\u2019re playing the long game<\/a>,\u201d he told the publication early in December of 2024. \u201cIt would be easy to go for instant gratification, but the foundation that we\u2019re building is so that we die together one day, not just make it fun.\u201d He added, \u201cWe know we\u2019re going to get married one day, and when it happens, it\u2019ll be a lot of fun, but whenever that is, who knows?\u201d<\/p>\n

Either way, SeSorbo is convinced there won\u2019t be any bad feelings. \u201cI love him, I think he loves me,\u201d she said in part, in her Giggly Squad<\/em> comments. \u201cI think we will remain friends.\u201d<\/p>\n
