But if you\u2019re still struggling to figure out the solution, keep reading to find out.<\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-3\">Thanks to \u201cWordle\u201d innovator <strong>Josh Wardle<\/strong>, we\u2019ve got an educational yet super addicting game to crack each day. The software engineer spoke during a presentation earlier this year, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/24186786\/wordle-original-name-mr-bugs-wordy-nugz-wardle\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" data-analytics-trigger=\"article-body-link\">The Verge, <\/a>where he discussed his approach to the word game.<\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-4\">\u201cWordle\u201d began as a prototype in 2013 and developed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Josh said he was \u201ctrying to do something that was authentic to [him],\u201d and that he wanted to \u201cbuild something for someone that [he] loved. It just so happened a bunch of other people loved it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-5\">As for why he decided to sell his invention to <em>The New York Times<\/em>, Josh noted, \u201cIt was a very clear decision for me to make to sell the game. It was obvious due to the success of \u2018Wordle\u2019 that I could make my life if I wanted to. But there are a bunch of things that I wouldn\u2019t enjoy about running a games business. And it just felt so clear to me that that wasn\u2019t something I wanted any part of.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-6\">Josh also advised other innovators, \u201cDon\u2019t try to make \u2018Wordle.\u2019 Make the thing that you\u2019re passionate about that is meaningful to you.
