Avila was an avid horse rider who died at the age of 72 on November 9, 2024, according to multiple outlets. He was considered a legend of an equine trainer. He not only raised horses \u2014 he also trained them and taught others how to follow in his footsteps. According to Sports Illustrated<\/em>, Avila spent nearly 20 years on a ranch in Temecula, California, before relocating to Arizona.<\/p>\n
