Our sources confirmed the rumor and the date of closure, and say there\u2019s another restaurant ready to take over the space, Boa Steakhouse, formerly at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_42262\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-42262\" style=\"width: 845px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload wp-image-42262 size-post-thumbnail-crop-845xAUTO\" style=\"border: 1px solid #000000;\" alt=\"\" width=\"845\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/www.casino.org\/vitalvegas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/villa_azur_closed1-845x563.jpg\"\/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-42262\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">\u201cVilla\u201d translates as \u201ccountry house\u201d and \u201cazul\u201d means \u201cthat needed better marketing.\u201d<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>No official announcement of the closure has been made, and the Boa Steakhouse scoop has yet to be confirmed. Give it a minute.<\/p>\n<p>Villa Azur has been open just two years. It opened Dec. 8, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>There was a vastitudinous red flag back in Sep. when Villa Azur closed suddenly due to a rent kerfuffle. We attended public school.<\/p>\n<p>We stopped by Villa Azur when our scoop about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casino.org\/vitalvegas\/confirmed-bazaar-meat-is-moving-to-venetian-palazzo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bazaar Meat moving to Palazzo<\/a> was confirmed. When they move, high probability is it will be into the Dal Toro Ristorante space at Palazzo.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Vital Vegas (@VitalVegas) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/VitalVegas\/status\/1821292159489994964?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 7, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Anyhoo, if our sources are right, Boa Steakhouse is preparing to make a return to the Las Vegas Strip.<\/p>\n<p>Boa Steakhouse is from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.innovativedining.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Innovative Dining Group<\/a>, the folks behind Sushi Roku and other concepts.<\/p>\n<p>There are Boa Steakhouse locations in Manhattan Beach, West Hollywood and Santa Monica in California, as well as Austin in Texas, which is about the only acceptable part of Texas at the moment.<\/p>\n<p>Boa Steakhouse opened at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace in 2005 and closed in 2020. We honestly can\u2019t remember ever hearing anything about the place and we worked at Caesars Entertainment for several years (from 2007 to 2013).<\/p>\n<p>As mentioned, none of this has been confirmed yet, but when has that ever stopped us from sharing the newsy restaurant goodness? Eater Vegas has lost its edge and the Review-Journal is useless, so somebody has to do it.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll share when we hear more through official P.R. channels.
