Joey Graziadei<\/strong> not only captured hearts as the star of The Bachelor <\/em>season 28<\/a><\/span>\u00a0but also as the winner of <\/span>Dancing With the Stars<\/span> season 33! The 28-year-old was partnered with professional dancer Jenna Johnson<\/a><\/strong> on the dancing competition, which lasted about 10 weeks. The duo emerged victorious, taking home the Len Goodman<\/a><\/strong> Mirrorball Trophy, with Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten finishing in second place.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the finale episode, after learning he had won, Joey shared, \u201cThis experience has been unbelievable, honestly. Everyone from the beginning. Ilona, you have been amazing this season. I love you. All the finalists, the judges, thank you for bearing with us. I tried my best, I promise. Thank you.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Before his time on <\/span>DWTS<\/span>, Joey was known for being part of Bachelor Nation, particularly for his appearance on the season 20 finale<\/a> of The Bachelorette<\/a><\/em><\/span>. He was heartbreakingly dumped<\/a> by Charity Lawson<\/strong><\/a> at the final rose ceremony, where she got engaged<\/a> to Dotun Dotun Olubeko<\/strong><\/a>. Since then, Joey has embarked on his own journey to find love.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI want someone that\u2019s just themself that I can truthfully be a partner with,\u201d Joey said \u201cI want someone that challenges me. I want someone that I can challenge. I want someone to do life with and be my person. And at the end of the day, we\u2019re going to be happy together.\u201d<\/p>\n

What Does Joey Graziadei Do?<\/h2>\n

Joey\u2019s job is listed as a tennis professional on his ABC bio<\/a>. Joey \u201cquickly realized the corporate world wasn\u2019t for him and moved to Hawaii to live his passion of teaching his favorite sport.\u201d However, Joey\u2019s LinkedIn<\/a> says he also works as a \u201cLifestyle and Experience Ambassador\u201d for Kukuiula Development Company in Koloa, Hawaii. He has held the position, which introduces members to various activities within the Hawaii club, since July 2022.<\/p>\n

Prior to moving to Hawaii, Joey worked as a tennis professional at the Ensworth School in Nashville, Tennessee. Before becoming a tennis teacher, he briefly held corporate jobs in Tennessee, working at Comdata and Paylocity between 2020 and 2021.<\/p>\n

How Long Has Joey Graziadei Lived In Hawaii?<\/h2>\n

It appears that Joey lived in Hawaii on and off over the years, based on his LinkedIn activity. He first worked as a tennis pro for the Hilton Hotel & Resorts in Hawaii for a brief period in 2014 and 2015. He returned as a tennis professional at a golf club in Princeville, Hawaii in 2017 and 2018, and then worked at the Kukuiula Development Company as a tennis pro between 2018 and Jan. 2020. After his brief stint in Tennessee, it appears he returned to Hawaii in July 2022.<\/p>\n

Where Did Joey Go To College?<\/h2>\n

Joey attended West Chester University of Pennsylvania and graduated with a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Communication and Media Studies in 2017. He was in a fraternity and played Division II tennis while at school. Joey is originally from Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n

Joey\u2019s Dad Is Gay<\/h2>\n

Joey opened up about his father coming out as gay during his intro package in The Bachelorette<\/em> premiere<\/a>. \u201cFamily does mean the world to me,\u201d he said. \u201cWhen I was in kindergarten, my dad came out as gay. It\u2019s made me more loving and accepting. I thought my this age I\u2019d be with someone and I do want a family. This could be the one.\u201d<\/p>\n

Joey Has Nothing But Love For Charity Lawson<\/h2>\n

Even though things didn\u2019t work out with Charity, Joey learned a lot from that relationship. \u201cI think that I always try to learn from any past relationship,\u201d Joey told Hollywood Life<\/strong>. \u201cOne thing I learned from being with Charity and just from past relationships, in general, is how much I need someone that thinks of other people, is very understanding, is very kind, and I feel like when I connect with them, I can just feel that coming off of them at all times. So Charity had that. She was just a very sweet and kind person, and I know that\u2019s something I\u2019m looking for in the person that I want to be with.\u201d<\/p>\n
