Chuck Woolery<\/strong><\/a> died<\/a> on November 23, 2024. He was 83. Remembered for his charismatic presence hosting Wheel of Fortune, Love Connection, Scrabble<\/em> and several other programs, Woolery\u2019s death broke the hearts of many. His friend, Mark Young,<\/strong> confirmed his death in a statement via X and to TMZ<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is with a broken heart that I tell you that my dear brother @chuckwoolery has just passed away,\u201d Young tweeted that day. \u201cLife will not be the same without him, RIP brother.\u201d<\/p>\n Woolery\u2019s cause of death has not been determined by a medical examiner yet. However, Young revealed what happened in the moments before his friend died.<\/p>\n Woolery did not publicly speak of any health issues throughout his life. Therefore, it\u2019s unclear if he was struggling with an illness or physical condition when he died.<\/p>\n Previously, Woolery shared his opinion about the COVID-19 pandemic and how the Democratic Party was leading it.<\/p>\n \u201cThe most outrageous lies are the ones about Covid 19. Everyone is lying,\u201d he tweeted in 2020, per The New York Post<\/em><\/a>. \u201cThe CDC, Media, Democrats, our Doctors, not all but most, that we are told to trust. I think it\u2019s all about the election and keeping the economy from coming back, which is about the election. I\u2019m sick of it.\u201d<\/p>\n Woolery died after he had trouble breathing, Young told TMZ<\/em><\/a>. While at home in Texas, \u00a0Woolery said he wasn\u2019t feeling well and wanted to rest. At one point, Woolery couldn\u2019t breathe, and he died shortly thereafter. It\u2019s unclear what caused Woolery\u2019s breathing issue.<\/p>\n Before he died in 2024, Woolery was married four times. The late game show host\u2019s ex-wives are Margaret Hayes, Jo Ann Pflug<\/strong> and Teri Nelson<\/strong>. He was married to his fourth wife, Kim Barnes<\/strong>, since 2006. Although it was previously reported that they divorced, multiple outlets<\/a> reported<\/a> that Woolery was with his wife, Kim, at the time of his death.<\/p>\n Woolery was the father of five children, all of whom he shared with different women: Katherine<\/strong>, Melissa<\/strong>, Michael<\/strong> and Sean<\/strong>.
