According to The Wrap<\/em><\/a>, Ellen lives in a rural region of England now. In November 2024, the outlet reported that the comedian and her wife, Portia de Rossi<\/strong><\/a>, \u201cplan to never return<\/a> to the United States\u201d now that Donald Trump<\/strong> <\/a>has been re-elected. A source told the outlet that the results of the 2024 presidential election was Ellen\u2019s \u201cprimary motivation\u201d to leave the country<\/a> and live in the Cotswolds in the U.K.<\/p>\n

Up until now, Ellen was living in Montecito, California. The Wrap<\/em> reported that the former talk show host\u2019s home has \u201cbeen pocket-listed or will be listed soon.\u201d<\/p>\n
