YouTube sensation Mr. Beast has announced his competition show, \u201cBeast Games,\u201d will debut Dec. 19, 2024 on Prime Video.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeast Games\u201d involves 1,000 entrants vying for $5 million in cash, and the first round of eliminations (narrowing down 2,000 contestants to 1,000) was taped in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

Our coverage of the circumstances around the taping of \u201cBeast Games\u201d sparked an international firestorm, with allegations of mistreatment of contestants, hospitalizations and, possibly the worst part, many participants had to stay at Resorts World. We kid because we love!<\/p>\n

Our exclusive scoop<\/a> about the \u201cBeast Games\u201d taping was one of the biggest stories of 2024 completely missed by local media. Shocker. They\u2019re just getting around to trying to figure out the whole \u201cMySpace phenomenon.\u201d<\/p>\n

Our blog\u2019s\u00a0 comment section became a way for contestants and their families to express concerns (translation: anger) about the \u201cBeast Games\u201d production, and boy did they ever voice them.<\/p>\n

Contestants alleged they were deprived of food, medicine, clean underwear and other personal care items (including tampons, mostly for the women). Others questioned the fairness of the competition, and say due to the physicality, the competition was skewed against women and older folks.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve been told the elimination competitions in Las Vegas won\u2019t actually be in the show, but we\u2019re holding out hope Las Vegas will be featured.<\/p>\n

The airing of the show is sure to ignite further conversation from contestants and fans about the circumstances around the taping of the show.<\/p>\n

Episodes one and two of \u201cBeast Games\u201d air Dec. 19, 2024, with consecutive episodes following weekly on Prime Video.<\/p>\n
