Tony Todd<\/strong> was just 69 when he died<\/a>. Know as one of horror\u2019s most famous legends, his death broke hearts everywhere. Many celebrated his film career, which encompassed more than just the horror genre, and paid tribute to the beloved actor. Since Tony was only in his 60s, fans have been wondering what he died from.<\/p>\n New Line Cinema honored its late star by sharing an Instagram<\/a> message from his Final Destination<\/em> family, which read, \u201cThe industry has lost a legend. He also appeared in the Final Destination<\/em> series from 2000 to 2025 as the character William Bludworth. His last portrayal in the franchise, titled Final Destination: Bloodlines<\/em>, will be released posthumously in 2025.<\/p>\n Filming the first Candyman<\/em> film was not easy for Tony. In one scene, the late actor had to film himself covered in real bees, he revealed in an interview with The Guardian<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI negotiated a bonus of $1,000 for every sting during the bee scene. And I got stung 23 times,\u201d he said. \u201cEverything that\u2019s worth making has to involve some sort of pain.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
