During a November 2024 \u201cBFFs\u201d podcast episode, Brianna made several claims about Zach, including that his team offered her a $12-million deal to sign a non-disclosure agreement. She also alleged that Zach \u201ctried to control\u201d her by objecting to the clothes she chose, including the dress she wore to the Golden Globe Awards.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat was f**king crazy. That was the first time he had really tried to control what I wore and what I posted,\u201d Brianna claimed. \u201cSo, I went to the Golden Globes, and I posted like a carousel of pictures, and he didn\u2019t like my dress. \u2026 He said he didn\u2019t want to date someone that presents themselves that way.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Barstool Sports personality then claimed that Zach unfollowed her and \u201ceveryone\u201d afterward. After flying back home from the awards ceremony, Brianna alleged her boyfriend at the time \u201cruined [her] night.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s, like, happy in the beginning, then all of a sudden, it turns to, \u2018I can\u2019t believe you\u2019re wearing this \u2026 blah blah blah blah,’\u201d Brianna alleged. \u201cIt ruins the night. I\u2019m crying to Grace the whole f**king night, and he unfollows me because of the dress. He tells me all the Instagram pictures that I have that I have to delete, and I\u2019m like, \u2018Okay, yeah, I guess.\u2019 He makes me believe that I have to change my image to keep up with his or something.\u201d<\/p>\n
However, Zach ended up re-posting Brianna\u2019s pictures to his Instagram Stories, calling her \u201cbeautiful.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cHe reposted that picture of me on his story and was like, \u2018You are so beautiful\u2019 \u2026 while freaking out behind the scenes and unfollowing all of us, and unfollowing me,\u201d she further alleged. \u201cIt was just such a tug of war with my emotions in my head.\u201d<\/p>\n
Zach has not publicly commented on Brianna\u2019s claims.<\/p>\n
Why Did Zach & Brianna Break Up?<\/h2>\n
Neither Zach nor Brianna has offered a reason<\/a> behind their breakup. The \u201cSomething in the Orange\u201d artist revealed their split in an Instagram Stories announcement, which Brianna later claimed \u201cshocked\u201d her.<\/p>\n\u201cBrianna and me have broken up with [each other], and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart,\u201d Zach wrote in his note. \u201cShe has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that, I\u2019ll always thank her. I have had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things.\u201d<\/p>\n
Though he claimed their breakup was mutual, Zach added, \u201cI thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways. I am not perfect and never will be.\u201d<\/p>\n
