The team has suffered multiple losses over the season so far, with the most recent being against the Carolina Panthers. However, after seven straight losses in the season, the choice to let go of Dennis was likely due to the team\u2019s struggle to win a game.<\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-8\">Additionally, a player \u2014 whose identity was not revealed \u2014 told ESPN regarding Dennis\u2019 firing, \u201cThat\u2019s a message heard loud and clear. \u2026 Got to find a way to win.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Who Is Darren Rizzi?<\/h2>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-9\">Darren is now serving as the Saints\u2019 interim coach and special teams coordinator. Before accepting his latest coaching role, Darren was the Miami Dolphins\u2019 special teams coordinator from 2010 to 2018. He also served as the team\u2019s assistant head coach.<\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-10\">The New Jersey native, who is also a father to five children, previously worked as the head coach of the University of New Haven Chargers and the University of Rhode Island Rams.<\/p>\n<h2>Who Is the New Saints Coach?<\/h2>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-11\">It\u2019s unclear who will replace Dennis as the permanent coach of the Saints.
