There are virtually no good pizza options on The Strip, so it is with great joy and hope we share news Swingers, a new golf-themed attraction at Mandalay Bay (opens Nov. 8, 2024), will boast Emmy Squared Pizza.<\/p>\n

The news release says Emmy Squared Pizza is a \u201ccult favorite,\u201d so slip on your Nike Decades and let\u2019s learn more. (We are fully cognizant Heaven\u2019s Gate references are now three decades old and many of our fellow youths have no idea what we\u2019re talking about. We also realize some people aren\u2019t fans of jokes about suicide cults. Those people probably shouldn\u2019t be reading our blog. They should be crying to their mommies like the big babies they are.)<\/p>\n

Emmy Squared Pizza first launched in 2016 in Brooklyn and there are currently 28 locations across the country.<\/p>\n

Emmy Squared Pizza is described thusly, \u201cEmmy Squared Pizza delivers a one-of-a-kind experience by combining a New York-style grandma pie with a Detroit-style pizza. Then, takes it up a notch with signature sauces, high-quality ingredients, fluffy, focaccia-like dough with a crispy bottom and caramelized, cheese edging known as frico crust.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cheese edging costs extra at brothels, by the way.<\/p>\n

The description of Emmy Squared Pizza is mesmerizing and dead center in our culinary sweet spot. Here are some words from the news release about the Emmy Squared menu.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrico-Crusted Detroit-style Pizzas: Emmy Squared Pizza\u2019s irresistible options include the MVP, with house-made vodka sauce, red sauce, parsley pesto and a sesame seed crust; the Roni Supreme, a combination of red sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni and Calabrian chili; the Big Hawaiian, topped with Ezzo pepperoni, crispy bacon, pineapple and a chile glaze; and the Colony, pairing red sauce with Ezzo pepperoni, pickled jalape\u00f1os and a drizzle of sweet honey. All pizzas can be made to be gluten-free and\/or vegan.\u201d<\/p>\n

The menu will also feature award-winning burgers and \u201ca classic take on the Chicken Parm Sandwich, with breaded chicken, red sauce, mozzarella, basil and pickles.\u201d We\u2019re trying to get past the pickles thing.<\/p>\n

Appetizers will be plentiful as well, with Gourmet Meatballs, Zia Fries, the Brussels Sprout Salad and Brooklyn Mozz Sticks.<\/p>\n
