The pair were a high-profile couple in the entertainment industry for the entirety of their relationship. Nicole and Tom met while working on their movie\u00a0Days of Thunder\u00a0<\/em>in 1989, and they wed the following year<\/a> on Christmas Eve 1990. Throughout the pair\u2019s relationship, they adopted a daughter\u00a0<\/a>Isabella<\/a>,\u00a0<\/strong>29, and\u00a0son\u00a0Connor<\/a>,\u00a0<\/strong>27. The couple regularly appeared together on red carpets, and they were frequently seen beside each other. Despite both stars being huge, Nicole has opened up about her feelings at that time. The couple have two daughters\u00a0Sunday Rose,\u00a0<\/strong>13, and\u00a0Faith Margaret,\u00a0<\/strong>11. Nearly 16 years after tying the knot, the couple are still going super strong, and it\u2019s clear that they both support each other in their creative endeavors. She has posted tons of photos of the couple showing off some PDA<\/a> on a number of occasions, especially for romantic days, like Valentine\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n

Nicole also opened up about the secret to making their marriage<\/a> work in a September 2021 interview with\u00a0Harper\u2019s Bazaar<\/em>. \u201cWe\u2019re always working through stuff, but it\u2019s very much love based, so there\u2019s an enormous amount of give and take.
