Lucas Coly<\/strong>, a rapper and social media star, has died<\/a>, NBC News<\/a> confirmed. He was 27 years old. Coly\u2019s manager, whose social media username is \u201cI Discover Stars,\u201d announced on Thursday, October 3, that the \u201cI Just Wanna\u201d artist was dead. The music artist\u2019s cause of death has not been publicly disclosed. One day prior, fans noticed that Coly shared a message via his Instagram Stories, which read, \u201cI love y\u2019all\u201d with a heart emoji over a black background.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing your manager was one of the reasons I stayed here,\u201d Coly\u2019s manager wrote via Instagram<\/a>. \u201cThere\u2019s a hole in my heart right now, Lucas. We used to speak on our struggles all the time but smile for the fans. So many people hurt us again and again, but we had each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

The manager went on to note that he doesn\u2019t \u201cknow what to do now,\u201d adding that he felt \u201cbroken\u201d along with the hashtags \u201c#riplucascoly\u201d and \u201c#checkonyourfriends.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHonestly, Lucas, it hasn\u2019t set in yet because I refuse to believe you are gone,\u201d the manager concluded. \u201cHeart ripped to shreds. God send him back here. Please.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a separate post via Facebook<\/a>, Coly\u2019s manager mentioned the \u201cAct Right\u201d artist\u2019s girlfriend, Amber, encouraging fans to \u201cpray\u201d for her.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not ok. Pray for Amber y\u2019all,\u201d he wrote. \u201cAnd for those wondering how I know if it\u2019s true\u2026. 1) I was his longtime manager and 2) because I was on the phone with him moments before. He loved all of his fans. 2024 has been the worst year of my life. Lucas was more of a brother to me than my client. Amber will confirm the news when she is ready. Please give her time to process and heal. When the funeral arrangements are set I will post them here.\u201d<\/p>\n
