Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs<\/strong><\/a>\u2018 investigation has continued to unfold following his arrest<\/a> on September 16 in New York.<\/p>\n

The 54-year-old\u2019s arrest followed an investigation in which law enforcement interviewed three women and one man in New York City regarding \u201callegations of sex trafficking, sexual assault, and the solicitation and distribution of illegal narcotics and firearms,\u201d according to NBC<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

A lawyer for Combs released a statement following the home raids in March, calling the ordeal a \u201cgross overuse of military-level force.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis unprecedented ambush\u2014paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence\u2014leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits,\u201d attorney Aaron Dyer stated, according to several outlets. \u201cThere has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name.\u201d<\/p>\n

Combs is currently in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center<\/a> in Brooklyn as he awaits trial. A trial date has not yet been set, but a status hearing is scheduled for October 9.<\/p>\n

What Did Federal Agents Find in Diddy\u2019s Homes?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

After federal law enforcement raided the rapper\u2019s properties in Los Angeles and Miami on March 25, the items found have been disclosed, reportedly including firearms\u2013 like \u201cthree AR-15s with defaced serial numbers, as well as a drum magazine,\u201d the indictment said\u2013 at both locations.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn more than one occasion, Combs himself carried or brandished firearms to intimidate and threaten others, including victims of and witnesses to his abuse,\u201d the indictment said.<\/p>\n

According to <\/span>NBC News<\/a><\/em>, which reported on the day of his arrest, federal agents also uncovered \u201cvarious Freak Off supplies, including narcotics and more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant\u201d during the home raids. <\/span>In the so-called \u201cfreak off\u201d<\/a> sex parties that U.S. Attorneys allege Diddy hosted, the rapper would reportedly lure and coerce women into engaging in sexual performances with male sex workers for him to watch and record\u2014sometimes without their knowledge.<\/p>\n

What Did Diddy\u2019s Lawyer Say About the Baby Oil?<\/h2>\n

Attorney Marc Agnifilo<\/strong> told The New York Post <\/em><\/a>on Sept. 21, \u201cI don\u2019t think it was 1,000. I think it was a lot. I mean, there\u2019s a Costco right down the street. I think Americans buy in bulk, as we know.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cThese are consensual adults doing what consensual adults do. We can\u2019t get so puritanical in this country to think that somehow sex is a bad thing, because if it were, there would be no more people.\u201d However, in a preview clip from the TMZ<\/em> documentary The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment<\/em>, Agnifilo downplayed TMZ<\/a><\/em>\u2018s suggestion that the oil was for lubrication during orgies.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not really sure what the baby oil has to do with anything. One bottle of baby oil goes a long way. I don\u2019t know what you\u2019d even need 1,000 for.\u201d<\/p>\n

In response to Agnifilo\u2019s comments, Costco pushed back, stating that none of its U.S. locations carry baby oil. A spokesperson for the retailer informed TMZ<\/em><\/a> that baby oil is not listed on their website, nor does rival warehouse giant Sam\u2019s Club carry it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

What Other Allegations Have Been Tied to Diddy?<\/h2>\n

The recent investigation<\/a> into Diddy\u2019s properties comes amid allegations of rape and sexual abuse by multiple women. One of them was Diddy\u2019s ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura<\/strong><\/a>, who filed a lawsuit<\/a> against him in November 2023, accusing him of physical and sexual abuse during their 11-year relationship.<\/p>\n

Combs vehemently denied Ventura\u2019s claims, and they quickly came to a settlement<\/a> later that month. Nevertheless, he is still facing several accusations of sexual abuse.<\/p>\n
