Instagram<\/a> on September 24, 2024, Quincy, Christian, Jessie and D\u2019Lila wrote, \u201cWe have seen so many hurtful and false rumors circulating about our parents, Kim Porter and Sean Combs\u2019 relationship, as well as about our mom\u2019s tragic passing, that we feel the need to speak out.\u201d<\/p>\nThe Combs kids then pointed out, \u201cClaims that our mom wrote a book are simply untrue. She did not.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd anyone claiming to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves,\u201d they continued. \u201cAdditionally, please understand that any so-called \u2018friend\u2019 speaking on behalf of our mom or her family is not a friend. Nor do they have her best interests at heart.\u201d<\/p>\n
The statement also pointed out that Diddy\u2019s children\u2019s \u201clives were shattered\u201d when Kim died in 2018.<\/p>\n
\n<\/blockquote>\n\u201cShe was our world, and nothing has been the same since she passed,\u201d they added in the statement. \u201cWhile it has been incredibly difficult to reconcile how she could be taken from us too soon, the cause of her death has long been established. There was no foul play.\u201d<\/p>\n
After requesting privacy from the public, Quincy, Christian, Jessie and D\u2019Lila concluded their statement by writing, \u201cWe are deeply saddened that the world has made a spectacle of what has been the most tragic event of our lives. Our mother should be remembered for the beautiful, strong, kind, and loving woman she was. Her memory should not be tainted by horrific conspiracy theories.\u201d<\/p>\n

How Did Kim Porter Die?<\/h2>\n
Kim died in November 2018, and her cause of death was from lobar pneumonia. The illness is a form of pneumonia \u201ccharacterized by the infection and inflammation of one or more lobes of the lung,\u201d per Yale Medicine<\/a>.
