According to<a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt20969586\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-analytics-trigger=\"article-body-link\"><em> IMDb<\/em><\/a>, the movie follows \u201ca group of supervillains recruited to go on missions for the government.\u201d Originally scheduled for release in July 2024, <em>Thunderbolts*<\/em> was delayed due to the 2023 Hollywood strikes, and is now expected to hit theaters in May 2025.<\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-2\">Several Hollywood stars and familiar MCU characters are set to return.
