Multiple contestants are suing the YouTube creator\u2019s production company and Amazon over several accusations. The lawsuit was filed on September 16, 2024, in a Los Angeles court. The court documents reportedly claimed that MrBeast\u2019s \u201cproduction companies\u00a0and Amazon shamelessly exploited the labor of approximately [redacted] people who served as contestants.\u201d<\/p>\n The unnamed plaintiffs alleged in the lawsuit that they were subjected to\u00a0\u201cunreasonable, unsafe, and unlawful employment conditions\u201d on the show, which ultimately led to \u201cseveral\u201d contestants being hospitalized, CNN reported. The plaintiffs also claimed they were only fed \u201csporadically and sparsely\u201d and not provided with \u201cadequate access to hygienic products or medical care.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe female contestants particularly and collectively suffered as a result of defendants\u2019 actions,\u201d the court documents read. \u201cThe Beast Game work environment systematically fostered a culture of misogyny and sexism [sic].\u201d<\/p>\n Most of the sexual harassment claims were reportedly redacted in the court filing.<\/p>\n Earlier this year, The New York Times<\/em><\/a> reported that unidentified contestants on MrBeast\u2019s show were subjected to dangerous conditions. Some of the game\u2019s players were given medical assistance after some vomited or passed out.<\/p>\n MrBeast has not publicly commented on the allegations against the reality show.
